I have some new content coming for you soon, but I wanted to take the close of 2024 as an opportunity to review some of the most exciting things happening here at Your Creative Worship. Below are the best blog posts, photos, and songs from 2024. Enjoy, and Happy New Year! May 2025 open new doors of worship for you. Amen

Best Blog posts:

Writing Songs from the Heart, an Interview - with Kimberly Walling Ford, an award winning song writer, mother, and Jesus follower. She shares her journey from vocalist to lyricist and her heart for worship.

This is Calm - the first post in the anxiety series. The whole series is a valuable tool for conquering worry that has become too much.

Lessons From a Half-Dead Man - my award winning piece that tells the story of the Good Samaritan from the perspective of the man robbed and left for dead. What can we learn by considering the story from his point of view?

Related photos:

  • Kimberly Walling Ford co-wrote "Everything With Breath" with Brian Connelly, and shortly after our interview it went to #1 at God's Music Today.

  • The anxiety series was built around a collection of four paintings that I made to try to visually communicate my experience with anxiety.

  • Lessons From a Half-Dead Man took 2nd place in the Non-fiction category of the 2024 Goldie Awards Writing Contest.

Everything With Breath by Brian Connelly

Goodness of God by CeCe Winans

Don't Stop Praying by Matthew West (this is from a different post, but I'm sure the half-dead man was praying repeatedly as he waited for his rescuer)

As the sun sets on 2024, we look forward with hope and joy to all God will do in 2025.
